During a street performance, musician and busker Allie Sherlock received the best interruption. After seeing her sing while accompanying herself on the acoustic guitar, a young man in the audience had a very important question. Could he play guitar for her on her next song? Allie couldn’t refuse his sweet offer, so she handed him the guitar. It turns out that she made the right call!
Together, the busker and the audience member, named Marcus, delivered a truly awe-inspiring performance. They covered Fix You by Coldplay, with Allie Sherlock on vocals while her impromptu guitarist provided the backing instrumental. Marcus displayed some pretty impressive musical skill!
Of course, the best part of this street performance was the adorable rapport between the busker and the stranger from the crowd. They had the best energy as they played together. Marcus kept smiling as though he was having the time of his life!
While Allie Sherlock sang with her accompanist, a pretty large audience gathered to watch. Everyone was completely silent as they took in the beautiful music!
Commenters totally loved this sweet video of the busker’s performance with her new friend. In fact, some people were even hoping that a little romance might bloom between the two of them!

This isn’t the only time that Allie Sherlock has invited a random onlooker to join her in the middle of a show. A musician from Mexico City happened to be watching one of the busker’s performances when he decided to ask if he could jump in. Allie was about to sing Perfect by Ed Sheeran, and she welcomed Nathan Bank to share the stage — er, sidewalk — with her. Once again, she was blown away by the audience member’s talent!
Music has such an incredible way of drawing people together. It’s so cool to see total strangers connecting through song!
