They don’t like that (Don’t ask). However, Isabel Wherry’s daughter loves all things cicada. One of Aspen’s favorite cicada items is the Halloween costume that she is wearing in the video. To be fair, the girl is barely bigger than a cicada. Her collection of empty shells is huge. She treats them with tender, loving care and plays with the bugs constantly.

An entomologist sent an entire bug collection to the tiny girl who loves cicadas. There is cicada sidewalk chalk, resin cubes, countless books and stickers, and too much more to list. In truth, this tiny tot is just as happy with her collection of empty shells as she is with all the toys people have generously sent.
