Proposals are an incredibly special moment in a couple’s life. Some are intimate with close friends, while others are done in front of huge crowds. For Nicole Faith Cochrane, she got a mix of both. While her then-boyfriend created a romantic and semi-secluded proposal on the beach, a group of onlookers also got to experience the action. Not only did these strangers witness the proposal, but they also recorded it for her as well.

Strangers Capture Proposal
PEOPLE wrote that Nicole “initially thought the onlookers were judging her for taking photos on the beach.” Little did she know that they would turn into some of her biggest supporters. The strangers airdropped the video to Nicole, who later posted it on her TikTok.
She posted the following note on the video. “Strangers filmed my engagement and then airdropped it to me later; their commentary was so cute.”
We have to agree with Nicole on the cuteness factor. The video starts by showing Nicole’s soon-to-be fiance in the distance, standing in a bed of roses. One of the strangers says, “This is the cutest thing ever.”
Another group member says, “She’s looking.” A friend clarifies, “She’s looking at us!” They then begin shushing one another. The girls are so cute in their attempt to not be distracting while still trying to capture this special moment.
The Big Reveal
Gasps can be heard from the group of strangers as Nicole enters the beach and finally sees the scene before her. She looked stunning in her long orange dress. She brings her hands to her face to cover her surprise as she sees her then-boyfriend, Taylor, standing in the roses.
The strangers filming the proposal tactfully zoom in on Nicole to get a close-up of her reaction. One of them can be heard asking, “Okay, should we cheer?” to which a companion argued, “We cheer after.” In an attempt to be as minimally distracting as possible, the group opted to wait to cheer until after the proposal.
The strangers continue to gush over the moment’s cuteness as Nicole walks to Taylor. Once inside of the heart, they share a sweet kiss and embrace. The group of strangers can no longer contain their excitement, and they begin screaming and cheering for the two lovebirds.
Stranger’s Proposal Goes Viral
Taylor gives the adoring group a peace sign, and Nicole shares her love and appreciation for this group in the comments on her TikTok.
@embburn commented, “Not her looking over at you guys like you’re supposed to be there LOL” to which Nicole replied: “LITERALLY.”
@ollie commented, “This is girlhood” to which Nicole responded “Yes” with multiple crying face emojis.
The video has received over 949,000 likes and has gained love everywhere it is shared. Nicole also told PEOPLE that the strangers “made it 100 times better.” I am so happy that this couple got their magical moment and that it got to be captured in so many different ways.
