There’s a certain chaos that comes with being a teacher, and it only seems to amplify when you’re the sub. I imagine that’s part of the reason why Shianne Cluck tried to find a creative way to call attendance for the 5th grade class she was in charge of on this particular day. That way, she could better capture her students’ attention, all while making them laugh.

So what was it that Ms. Cluck did? Rather than calling out their names like normal, she looked for the weirdest ways possible to say their names. So, for example, pronouncing Luke like “luck.”
Luckily, Ms. Cluck captured her brilliant plan on camera. In the video, the students only get quieter with each name said, proving how invested they are in her silly little game. I have a feeling these students will want to have Ms. Cluck back in their class ASAP!
