One man really proved himself to be a “golden retriever husband” with his wholesome reaction to his wife’s new haircut. In a video on social media, the woman caught the absolute cutest footage of her partner coming home to find her waiting for him at the door. Before this husband could focus on decoding his wife’s expression, he had something for her — which, of course, he presented to her in typical golden retriever fashion. As soon as the man walked through the door, he told his wife to hold out her hands. Then, he tossed a series of what looked like packaged cookies into her arms. What a sweet surprise!
After catching (most of) the items, the woman just stood there expectantly. Her husband could tell that there was something on her mind, but he was at a total loss as to what it could be. It seemed like he was starting to get a little worried!
“What?” he asked her.
Eventually, this wife decided that she had to give her golden retriever husband a hint. So, she told him to look at her. Finally, that’s when it clicked — she had gotten a haircut!
“Oh my goodness, it’s chopped off!” her husband marveled.
