“Talking” Cat Berates Mom For Not Giving Him The Attention He Deserves

smart cat

When you teach a pet to talk, you learn that they might have more opinions than you realized! This hilarious, too-smart talking cat needs to be heard right this minute — and he’s absolutely not taking “No” for an answer.

This cat is funny for quite a few reasons. Between the serious expression and the perfectly timed snark, Puffin the Cat is not someone that can be messed with. He’s going to get what he asked for, right when he asked. And if you don’t give it… he’s only going to ask for more!

I’ve seen these talking buttons for dogs, but never for cats. Owners can train their pets to hit buttons when they need something — but I’m guessing this cat owner is having some regrets. Her cat seems to be taking a pretty aggressive stance with her button pushing!

Puffin starts by selecting the “Attention” button and looking seriously at his mother.

When Mom explains that she’s about to go into a meeting, Puffin is not amused.

“Now,” Puffin “says.”

Then, Puffin hit the “Chase” button twice, followed by the “Treat” button.

“Ohhh… you want to chase your treats!” said Puffin’s mom. Apparently, Puffin and his mom have been playing a treat chasing game where she throws treats and Puffin scurries after them.

This talking cat just used his words to get exactly what he wanted. How amazing is that?!
