When a family member suffers from an illness, the holidays can be bittersweet. Loved ones want to enjoy their time together, but they may also mourn what once was. Bruce Willis’ family has been more than candid about his health struggles that began in 2022 with a diagnosis of aphasia. They later announced in February 2024 that he had frontotemporal dementia and lost his ability to communicate. Bruce Willis’ oldest daughters, Tallulah, Scout, and Rumer, have periodically shared updates about their father on social media, always focusing on the positive. Their father may not have the ability to tell them anymore, but it is very clear his love hasn’t changed.

Tallulah And Scout Shared Photos Of Bruce Willis On Thanksgiving
Both women shared the same images on Instagram with the simple caption, “Grateful.” In the photos, Scout and Tallulah looked at their father lovingly while he beamed, holding a placard that reads, “Best Dad Ever.” We’ve all heard that actions speak louder than words, and this photo speaks volumes. There is no question Bruce understands the sentiment from his girls, and his gratitude and love shine through his smile.
A woman took to the comment section to thank Scout and Tallulah for sharing Bruce Willis’ story.
She wrote, “My dad is the same age as yours and he too has FTD. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of you story. It helps feel less lonely on this journey. Sending love and prayers to your family every day.”
This person agreed, “I’m so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with your Dad…I had the same thing happen with my dad. It makes you appreciate every minute you have with them. Your dad looks really good, though… you are blessed with a beautiful family.”
Tallulah and Scout clearly love their dad and this Thanksgiving was extra special for all of them.
