Actress and icon Taraji P. Henson had a big surprise for her housekeeper Jahel. Taraji and the “Property Brothers,” Drew and Jonathan Scott, teamed up to deliver a beautiful renovation for this deserving friend.

Celebrity IOU is an awesome HGTV program where celebrities team up with renovators to deliver a house transformation for a deserving individual.
Taraji appeared in a not-yet-released episode, surprising her long-time housekeeper and “second mother,” Jahel.
Jahel has been Taraji’s housekeeper for over three years, playing an integral role in Taraji’s life as she filmed the hit show, Empire.
“When I met her, I just wanted to hug her,” Taraji explained on the show. “She’s just the sweetest, sweetest person, and, of course, as we got to know each other, I just loved her and her story.”
Taraji herself assisted with the renovation, and surprisingly loved the process of assisting the “Property Brothers!”
“That was actually fun, getting my hands dirty,” she said. “I’ve never done a demo before.”
