This Strange McDonald’s Hack Is Gaining Momentum & Some People Can’t Stomach It

McDonald's Hack

We’re all for a good hack, particularly when it comes to fast food. If we don’t have to cook and get it through an app or drive-thru, it’s worth a shot. But, sometimes, these combos seem more like weird pregnancy cravings that actually combine as an easy meal or snack. A recently viral McDonald’s hack brings together some sweet and savory menu items, and people are going nuts trying it. But we have to warn you, this one is pretty out of the box even for fast food junkies.

The McDonald’s Hack Might Remind You Of Another Fast Food Combo

If you like to dip a salty French fry into a sweet Wendy’s Frosty, then this one is for you. Snackolator shared the “Hash Brown McFlurry Sandwich” that first went viral after an Australian McDonald’s customer tried the clever combo hack.

You grab two McDonald’s hash browns and an Oreo McFlurry and combine them like an ice cream sandwich.

Snackolator explains, “It’s not a direct menu item, but you order two hash browns and your choice of ice cream – in this case an OREO McFlurry. You then assemble the sandwich yourself and eat *quickly* before it melts.”

The combo, evidently, made waves in some countries, and restaurants even promoted the trend with giveaways. It caused mixed reactions on Instagram.

Some fans are all in on the McDonald’s hack.

Like this person, “Mannn if the ice cream machine ever works over here (apparently hasn’t in 2 months) definitely trying this.”

And this person is ready to hit McDonald’s to try this.

“Now that’s a hack I can get behind!!!!!!!!!!!”

But others want nothing to do with the McDonald’s hack.

This person thought the idea was a joke. “I thought this was an early April Fools post.”

‘It’s giving clogged arteries,” another person commented.

So, what do you think? We might have to give this McDonald’s hack a go.
