It’s the first day of October, and good news is here. The royal family announced that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting a baby. Beatrice is the niece of King Charles and granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth. Her parents are Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. The new baby is the second child for Beatrice, 36, and Edoardo, 40, who share a 3-year-old daughter, Sienna Elizabeth. Beatrice is also a stepmother to Eodardo’s son, Christopher Woolf, known as “Wolfie.”

The Royal Family Made The Joyous Baby Announcement
Alongside two photos of the couple and their children, the Royal Family shared the news with the world on X.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna. His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news,” the release reads.
Fans shared love for the couple. One wrote, “What wonderful news for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi! Another royal baby on the way is sure to bring joy to both families. And it’s lovely to see the family growing. A happy addition for Wolfie and Sienna as well!”
This is an exciting moment for the couple, who had planned an elaborate ceremony in the spring of 2020. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted their plans. Instead, they wed in a smaller, more private ceremony in Windsor Chapel on July 17, 2020. Among the guests were Prince Phillip and the late Queen Elizabeth.
“It was very private, intimate, and romantic,” a source shared with People at the time. ”It was planned for some time, and everyone had to be extremely cautious leading up to the big day because the Queen was in attendance. They had to make sure everyone who was attending was in perfect health.”
Congratulations and love to the happy family.
