April can be a rather stormy month, and this year is certainly no different. The month has only just begun, and yet, a number of notable storms have already made an impact in a number of states. This includes Arkansas. In fact, a state of emergency was declared in response to the tornadoes, storms, and floods that took place on April 2. On social media, you can find a number of photos and videos taken of these storms. But the most breathtaking footage has to be of a massive tornado crossing the road.

Arkansas Storm Chaser Captures Stunning EF-3 Tornado Footage
Did you see those flashes of lights? Those were transformers being blown. It’s no wonder that happened — this was an EF-3 tornado, producing at least 200 mph winds, as estimated by Brandon. Truly, it’s amazing that he was able to get so close while remaining safe himself.
That said, few people are equipped to capture footage like Brandon. So, it’s always best to remain cautious during storms like these. In addition to the threat of deadly tornadoes, flooding can also be an issue. In fact, Indiana experienced storms on April 2, too. This led to a waterfall becoming so massive, the roads were nearly impossible to use.
