“The Voice” Singer Makes Waves For Singing Taylor Swift Cover “Better Than Taylor”

Taylor Swift The Voice

Taylor Swift wrapped her Eras Tour in December 2024 after 21 months and 149 performances. The world fell in love with Taylor, and millions of Swifties sang along to their favorite songs, dreaming of someday being just like their idol. They sing, dance, and play the guitar and piano, dreaming of making it big. Tori Templet loves Taylor Swift and took a big leap singing one of her songs for her blind audition on The Voice. Her gamble paid off, and both Adam Levine and Michael Buble turned their chairs to see what the Lover performer was all about.

“The Voice” Coaches Loved The Taylor Swift Cover

Kelsea Ballerini didn’t turn her chair but offered Tori kind words/ She said, “I feel like it is one of the hardest feats,” she said. “And you have such a unique voice. I listened to that song differently, and your voice made me do that. I will be your fan on this show.”

Fans agreed and flooded The Voice‘s TikTok post with high praise for Tori’s performance.

One fan wrote, “Wow hands down that was keep it lit as the prayer smoke rises at night stay blessed.”

Another The Voice viewer praised Taylor Swift’s songwriting. “This just shows Taylor’s melody structure and fluidity to how she switches from low notes to high notes.”

The performance reminded this person of another famous artist. “Immediately went to Mazzy Star. She would sound amazing singing ‘Fade Into You.'”

Ultimately, Tori chose Adam Levine as her coach. A move that made this person pretty darn jealous. They write, “The way my knees would give out if Adam smiled at me like that hahahahhahaha.,”

We don’t know if Taylor Swift watches The Voice, but we have to believe she would love what Tori Templet brings to the show. We can’t wait to watch her journey continue.
