DREION’s Rhythm & Soul Audition Gets A Four-Chair Turn
The audition started with high energy right away. Flawlessly, hitting his first note, DREION wasted no time getting judges to love his blind audition. Michael Bublé was the first judge to turn his chair for the performer.
With the same high note, he got The Voice coaches Snopp Dogg and Reba to turn around together. DREION showed his impressive vocal range as he scaled high notes and came back down to more baritone octaves. He flawlessly created his own rendition of the classic song.
While it took Gwen Stefani longer to turn than her fellow coaches, even she could not deny the raw talent emitting from DREION. As he performed, he danced across the stage. The judges mirrored his enthusiasm as they all bopped along in their chairs.
Snoop Dogg could be seen singing along and snapping his fingers to the beat of DREION’s performance.
“The Voice”: A Performance To Remember
After his incredible performance, DREION awaited the coaches’ feedback. Snoop Dogg started the comments by mentioning how Earth, Wind & Fire is one of his favorites, so the song that DREION really touched his heart.
Reba continued the praise by saying, “I loved your song. I loved your singing. So powerful, and I had to turn around to see what you looked like.” Along with his stellar vocals, Reba admits she was also impressed by his dance moves as well.
Gwen Stefani added, “It is very rare that you can get somebody who can sing and have a stage, like, aura, like you had.” She also praised DREION’s audition admitting that “that is not an easy song to do.” From there, Michale Bublé added in his thoughts.
The Voice coach made sure to remind DREION that he turned his chair first. He claimed, “I turned my chair so fast. I felt lonely out here for a while.” Then, he made sure to compliment his falsetto and his incredible vocal range.
After all the praise, DREION admits that deciding who his coach should be was a “really hard decision.” Ultimately, the singer chose to join Snoop Dogg’s team.
