Another incredible artist blessed The Voice stage during this season’s audition round. A 17-year-old artist named Shye gave an incredible performance that impressed all the coaches. Watch as she completely owns the stage and steals the show.

“The Voice” Superstar Shye Steals The Show
During her blind audition, Shye sang Five for Fighting’s Superman (It’s Not Easy). The stage was dark as Shye began. After the first few lyrics, Gwen Stefani hit her button and turned her chair. While the other judges were not as quick to turn, they nodded their approval while Shye moved through the song.
After showing some of her vocal range, Shye got The Voice coach Michael Bublé to turn his chair, as well. Shortly after, Reba joined the party, followed by Snoop Dogg. The young singer got herself a four-chair turn! Her friends and loved ones jumped for joy backstage at her incredible accomplishment.
Shye ended her epic performance by holding an incredible note and then bringing it down to a soft and gentle pitch, and she moved Gwen to tears.
Everyone Loves Shye
As the lights came on, the dukes came out. Each of The Voice coaches wanted Shye on their team. After being amazed at her young age, they began to compliment her. Reba started the positive comments by telling her, “Your voice is like butter.” She then reminded Shye that she won the last season of the show.
Not to be outdone, Gwen started her pitch. She began with, “I seriously need to pray for a minute. I have not been this excited so far this season for an artist.” She continued, “The first few notes were just so honest and genuine because God gave you that gift.” The coach was so excited that she gripped her chair and rocked with each word as she told Shye, “You are the perfect girl for my team. I live for you!”
Michael Bublé shared his praise next, telling Shye that he also loved her voice. The coach told Shey that he would love to take the journey with her and that he believed he could truly help her this season. Finally, Snoop Dogg joined in on the action and gave the artist the ultimate compliment. He told her, “You are made for this. You are made for singing.”
Who Does Shey Choose As Her Coach On “The Voice”?
After all of the praise, Shye surprised The Voice coaches with a gift. The singer admitted that in her spare time, she collects rocks and crystals. Then she shared that she had selected a rock specific for each one of the coaches. They were all elated as they walked up to receive their gifts.
The coaches wanted to know more about their stones. Reba was gifted a Red Tiger’s Eye, and Snoop Dogg was gifted a Pyrite. Once the gift-giving was over, it was time to get down to business. The coaches wanted to know who Shye was going to pick as her coach.
After some deliberation, the talented young singer chose to join Team Michael Bublé. Even he was surprised by her choice! Best of luck Shye!
