“The Voice” Winner’s Daughter Shows Him Up With Ease In Precious Family Sing-Off

Huntley and his daughter stand back to back, each of them reaching an arm out as they smile

When Huntley auditioned for The Voice, he took the world by storm. His powerful, unique vocals pair perfectly with his Southern blues, rock and roll style. Truly, it’s no wonder that he went on to win the entire season. But the reason that Huntley stands out to so many people isn’t just because of his music. When it came time to choose his coach, Niall Horan, Huntley’s daughter helped him out.

Ever since that day, we’ve gotten glimpses into Huntley’s family life. But the video below has to be one of the best. In it, we see Huntley going about his day in the kitchen. While he does, he starts to sing River by Bishop Briggs. He sounds great, of course, but his daughter, Stella, has some notes for him. He only gets a line into the song when Stella confidently shows him how it’s done! You can watch their adorable interaction in the video below.

“Getting some pointers from my mini,” Huntley writes in the caption of his video.

And just like that, we learn that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Like her dad, Stella already has a commanding voice. It’s clear that with time and practice, she’s sure to be just as talented of a musician as her dad, should she choose that route!

Huntley’s Daughter, Stella, Gets Love From Fans

As you can imagine, Huntley’s biggest fans are especially delighted to see that talent runs in the family.

“What a voice! Wonder who she got that from?? Hmmm,” one fan jokes in the comment section of the video, with another adding, “Stella girl can ‘sang’, just like her Daddy! She needs to do a duet with you, Huntley! I hear a successful musical future in her voice! Good job letting her express her true self! I love this!”
