Tiger Woods Witnesses His Son’s First Hole-In-One—His Reaction Is Priceless

Tiger Woods Son

Many parents will say they hope their children follow in their footsteps, at least a little bit. Of course, we encourage our kids to follow their passions, no matter what, but having a child who enjoys the same things we do can make life even sweeter. Tiger Woods, 48, is one of the greatest golfers of all time. He began playing when he was just a toddler and became the youngest Masters winner in history at age 21. His career has been marked with many victories, and it’s understandable he’d like to see his children pick up the game. Tiger Wood’s son, Charlie, 15, is following in his famous dad’s footsteps in a big way. He made his dad very proud during the 2024 PNC Championship in Orlando on December 22, when he hit his very first tournament hole-in-one.

Tiger Woods Watched His Son Make The Incredible Shot Live

Tiger and Charlie played in the tournament together, and Tiger’s daughter, Sam, 17, served as their caddie, according to People. The pair first played in the tournament together in 2020, and now it’s a family tradition. This outing proved to be an incredible memory for Tiger and Charlie. Per the PGA, Charlie nailed the shot on the fourth hole as Tiger looked on in awe. The pair didn’t win the championship, but it was a moment Tiger Woods, and his son will never forget.

“It was awesome,” Charlie said after the tournament. “No one made a mistake today, so that was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. On top of that, I made an ace. I don’t think I can top that. It was awesome.”

“I’ve never been as excited,” his dad added. “I’ve never hit a shot that I’ve been as excited.”

When asked how the day ranked among others in his golf career, Charlie told the PGA, “No. 1. It’s not even close.”
