There are some toys from our childhood that will stay with us forever. This is true even when they are no longer with us physically. For Janine Badoino’s mom, one of those childhood toys may be one you recognize: a Mrs. Beasley Doll. This Mattel doll came out in the 60s, and she came in various forms. This included a talking version with several catchphrases. As of today, however, the doll is no longer being made.

So, when it came time for Mom to help sell her childhood home, she was hopeful she would be able to reunite with that beloved doll. Unfortunately, Mrs. Beasley was nowhere to be found. Mom had to accept that she would never see her again… or so she thought. Years later, Janine was able to find one a mere 20 minutes away from their home. See Mom’s heartwarming reaction to this thoughtful gift in the video below!

“And just for a moment, I saw my mom as that little girl on Christmas again,” Janine shares, “with a twinkle in her eye as she held onto her childhood treasure.”
It is clear that the moment Mom lays eyes on Mrs. Beasley, she can hardly believe what she is seeing. But once reality does sink in for her, she bursts into tears. They are happy tears, of course, and it’s the kind that quickly spreads.
When Mom Finally Reunites With Her Favorite Childhood Toy, Nobody Can Stop Crying
“We are all just children trapped in aging bodies,” someone in the comment section of the video beautifully shares, with another person adding, “They have so much to catch up on.”
“The way she fixed the dolls glasses,” a third person points out. “You’re healing her inner child.”
