Toby Keith passed away in February of this year, but his musical talent lives on in his daughter, Krystal Keith. Also a country singer, she continues to make her late father proud in many ways. This includes the time she sang the national anthem at the Women’s College World Series Championship Series. More specifically, she kicked off the game between Oklahoma and Texas in 2024.

The national anthem is not an easy song, even for some of the best singers. That is why it’s so impressive that Krystal pulled off a rendition so beautiful, the crowd erupted into thunderous applause. Plus, a plane flying overhead only added to the excitement of the moment. Experience it for yourself in the video below!

“You made your Dad proud with that beautiful version of our National Anthem. Awesome job Krystal,” a fan shares in the comment section of that video, with another adding, “Wow, she has a strong voice! That is such a difficult song to sing. She did great.”

Toby Keith’s Daughter, Krystal, Showcases Her Powerful Voice With The National Anthem

Ever since Toby Keith passed away, Krystal has proven time and time again that she is her father’s daughter. There is her unforgettable rendition of the national anthem, of course, but a more recent performance has fans in tears. That’s because it took place during a recent Toby Keith tribute concert.

Taking place in Nashville, a whole list of stars honored the late country legend. Kristal joined in by covering one of her dad’s songs, Don’t Let the Old Man In. Getting to a place where she could sing it without becoming overwhelmed by emotions wasn’t easy, but she remained determined. In other words, like many fans have pointed out, there’s no doubt that Krystal is making her late father oh-so proud!
