A mom named Carly Hodo found herself with a mystery to solve this month. She was driving with her son, Phoenix, one day and had donuts in tow. When she pulled over—the sweets were missing. Carly suspected Phoenix ate them, but he vehemently denied the allegations.
Carly caught the adorable integration on video. It showed her asking her toddler if he ate the donuts while he shakes his head “no” with the most truthful look on his face. A face that is covered in powdered sugar and crumbs.
“Hey, did you eat my donuts?” Carly asked as Phoenix said “no” and leaned back, unknowingly showing crumbs on his shirt.
“Are you sure?” she pressed.
“I sure,” he said.
“Okay, I was just checking,” she responded, ready to let the obvious donut thief go.
Commenters See No Reason To Think The Toddler Ate The Donuts
The “Who Done It” video has been making millions smile. After 10 days online, over 1.6 million people have viewed the clip.
“Nooo what makes you think I ate your doughnut” an amused commenter asked. “🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣HE’S PRECIOUS.”
“He said no I ate MY donuts 🍩,” someone joked.
“This is his first time hearing about Donuts ma’am,” another person laughed.
“Badgering the witness!” a commenter shouted. “Asked and answered, ma’am.”
After reviewing the footage, we believe the evidence was planted. That sweet toddler would never be a donut thief.
