When it’s time for a nap, a toddler will try anything to avoid the inevitable. This little guy has a unique concept but isn’t experienced enough to make it convincing. We’re unsure where he learned this trick, but his execution needs some practice. When you watch the video, you’ll probably need the sound way up because it is difficult to hear him.

Did you catch those cute little snorts? He tried to snore convincingly to fool his mom into thinking he was sleeping. The toddler did not fool his mom, who was still making him take a nap. The fake snoring and his insistence that he’d had a “perfect nap” make for an awesome memory. However, the sympathetic comments under the video were hilarious.

The mom let the toddler get out of his nap when it was all said and done. She posted under a comment about giving in but not whether the toddler took a nap after receiving his reward. Sometimes, as parents, we just need to pick our battles.

TikTok user Jeanette said, “I’m a witness to him having a perfect nap.” Rebecca T added, “C’mon lady….we can all see he napped TWICE!” Kristine B added the minutes from a meeting that supposedly occurred, “Tiktok aunties have met and upon conclusion of our meeting we have confirmed he did nap. In fact he napped 2 times so he gets to go outside twice.” Many commenters were on the toddler’s side, urging the mom to consider the nap complete.

Some users were wishful, like Lynn Montemayor, who added, “Wish someone made me take naps for rewards.” If that were the case, many adults would happily take up the challenge of earning rewards for naps.
