This toddler was super excited about meeting her newborn sibling, and her enthusiasm has us all saying, “aww!” Nicole Castonguay shared the most beautiful video on social media of her two daughters seeing each other for the very first time. For such a little girl, this older sister sure has a big heart! It’s incredible to watch the way that she dotes on her younger sibling from the very beginning.

In this precious clip, other family members escorted the little girl to her mom’s hospital room. She was practically running through the halls while carrying the baby’s gift. In fact, she was so thrilled, she actually started unwrapping the present before she even got to her mom’s hospital room. Thankfully, the grown-ups were able to put everything back where it belonged.
Finally, it was time for this toddler to meet the newborn baby. She got to join Mom on the hospital bed, next to which was the infant’s bed. As soon as the little girl laid eyes on her sister, she was totally won over! She immediately tried to hand over the gift bag. Then, she started gently touching the baby’s face.
“I need to kiss her,” she announced.
So, Mom and Dad helped the little girl reach the baby’s bed so that she could give her a sweet kiss on the cheek. Soon after meeting the newborn, the toddler got to hold her in her arms. Of course, she was sitting on her mother’s lap the whole time, just in case!
Mom was completely awed by her older daughter’s reaction to having a new baby in the family.
This meeting went even better than anyone could have imagined.
“No one can prepare you for this,” she wrote in the caption of her video.
It’s so beautiful to see this toddler being so gentle while meeting her newborn sister for the first time. That’s going to be one powerful sibling bond!
