She was diagnosed with ocular melanoma, a rare eye cancer, several months ago and is scheduled to undergo a series of radiation treatments and surgeries. Her husband, Tyler, knew how anxious she was ahead of a scheduled surgery on February 9, so he surprised her about an hour beforehand with an early Valentine’s Day present that left her howling with laughter.

Photographer Jill Steenson of Lillian Lane Photography was looking for a way to promote her business and put out a call for a male model for a “dudeoir”photo shoot. Tyler enthusiastically answered the call, hoping to lift Stephanie’s spirits ahead of her scheduled surgery.

“We hit it off right away and she was like, ‘Alright, bring your briefs and a flannel, see you tomorrow!’”he said.

The results? Classic!

“I was definitely in the zone,”Tyler recalled. “There was nothing stopping me. At one point I straight up said, ‘Watch out, Tyra Banks – I’m coming.’â€

The satirical, laugh-out-loud photos show him in a series of seductive poses in the kitchen, living room and even the bath tub. Lying on a sheepskin rug, his eyes gleam with a come-hither look as he gazes directly at the camera.

In the kitchen, his bare torso dusted with flour, he dares the camera to come closer with a seductive glance over his shoulder.

A viewer favorite, of course, shows him kneeling in front of a crackling fireplace, holding a strategically placed throw pillow emblazoned with Christopher Walken’s image.

While the cancer diagnosis came as a big blow to Stephanie, who served as a military police officer in Afghanistan, Tyler, who served as an Army medic in Iraq, and their three children are providing as much support (and laughter) as possible, which will make the road ahead that much easier to navigate.

I couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day gift â¤ï¸ to me, it isn’t just about the photos, but because of why he did them and when he chose to show them to me. I couldn’t be more grateful for this man and the lengths he has gone to, to ensure I stay happy and smiling during this obstacle in our life!
