There are no rules when it comes to being a Swiftie. That said, there are plenty of beloved traditions that most fans uphold. One of these traditions is fairly new and started with the Eras Tour. Thanks to Swift’s song You’re on Your Own, Kid, you can always count on concertgoers to trade friendship bracelets with one another. Why? Because of the line, “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”

This heartwarming tradition has grown so much, it’s become popular well outside of the Eras Tour. Still, when Mindi Lowery’s uncle was invited to join them for an Eras Tour concert, he had never heard of the tradition. But once he had, it didn’t take any convincing to get him to join in on the fun! Mindi even captured the moment her uncle swaps bracelets with a young (and fabulous) fan.
“Have you ever seen anything more wholesome?” Mindi writes in the caption of her post.
Based on all of the friendship bracelets Mindi’s uncle is wearing in the image above, it’s safe to say that he became fully immersed in the Swiftie world. Truly, there’s no doubt that Ms. Swift herself would be oh-so happy to witness such a heartwarming moment.
