It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly five years since Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna. Kobe and Gianna are survived by his wife, Vanessa, and their daughters Natalia, 21, Bianka, 8, and Capri, 5. Kobe and Gianna’s sudden death came as a shock to the world. The NBA Icon was just 41 years old, and no one thought his life would end in such a tragic way. The grief his wife and daughters felt was unimaginable, but time has helped heal some of those wounds. Vanessa Bryant, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri are doing their best to honor Kobe and Gianna’s memory and their lives to the fullest.

Vanessa Bryant And Her Girls Had A Wonderful Christmas Holiday

She shared a sweet video on Instagram of herself and her girls enjoying time as a family. They played in the snow, bowled, and even roasted marshmallows. It looked like a perfectly fun adventure for the active family.

Vanessa Bryant captioned her video with some simple hearts, but fans knew what she meant.

The girls’ skiing impressed many people.

A follower wrote, “Can they work with me on the slopes.  So fun! Happy New Year! Love you and the girls from my heart.”

This person agreed, “Awe! So fun! The girls are on their way to becoming pro-skiers!!”

Even though Kobe is no longer with her, Vanessa keeps the love of her life close.

She posts about Kobe every once in a while, with a sweet video or picture. In August, Vanessa Bryant shared throwback clips of Kobe in anticipation of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. She captioned the post, “Four years to go. Only one way to get there. #LA28 No Time To Lose.”

Later the same day, she shared a birthday message to Kobe, “Happy birthday @kobebryant . I love you for now, forever & for always.”
