While Taylor’s music seems to transcend genres and generations, younger girls tend to have a penchant for T-Swift. And if you’re too young to drive to the show, you may rely on your parents to get you there. Many a doting dad have endured Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, whether they wanted to or not.
It’s Been A Cruel Summer For Some Of These Dads
TikToker Luke Troy Trotman put together a compilation of men at Eras Tour shows, and it’s hilarious. These fellas don’t exactly look like Swifites. They may not know a single song she plays, but they’re there to make someone else’s dream come true.
Luke captioned the video, “Absolute Troopers,” and he is correct.
Some of the dads stared into a blank space during Taylor Swift’s concerts, while others appeared to enjoy an adult beverage. One guy was having so much fun he fell asleep. Watch out dads, karma is coming. The video has been viewed 340,000 times because these guys are every dad ever created.
TikTokers loved it.
This fan recalled their experience, “My dad spent a very long time in a ‘dad stance’ looking at the roof trying to figure out the mechanisms that allow it to retract. LMAO”
Others had favorite memories, “the t-shirts are the best, had ‘in my dad era’ and ‘not a lot going on in my bank right now’ among others when I went.”
This one is just too much to take. “No, because the dad in front of us was sat making his Christmas list for his two young daughters putting Taylor’s stuff on there and I couldn’t cope.”
Swiftie dads, we like your style. You know that making your daughter’s wildest dreams come true will keep the bad blood away. Remember, a concert only lasts a few hours, shake it off, you’ll be fine!
