It all started with a silly holiday prank. Kaylee and her family decided to pull a practical joke on Grandma during their white elephant gift exchange. Everyone brought a “present” to the gathering that they’d actually stolen from the elderly woman’s home! Then, they waited to see how long it would take her to notice.
Kaylee shared some hilarious footage from the practical joke on social media. In the viral video, it took Grandma quite a while to figure out what was going on! At first, she thought it was a strange coincidence that all the white elephant gifts happened to be identical to items she had at her house. However, it was a hand-painted frog that finally tipped her off. When someone pointed out that the elderly woman’s initials were written underneath the object, she knew it was hers.
This hysterical prank video got over 25 million views on social media, and Kaylee ended up receiving quite a generous sum of money from it! However, she knew that this clip wouldn’t have been half as successful if it weren’t for her grandmother’s reaction to the practical joke. So, she decided to share the profits from the viral video.

Although Grandma insisted that she had nothing to do with the video going viral, her granddaughter was determined to give her the money. This wasn’t the last payment that Grandma would receive for going viral online, though. In another update, Kaylee returned with an additional stack of bills, which the elderly woman once again tried to refuse. However, her granddaughter wouldn’t take no for an answer. This grandmother was overwhelmed by the kind gesture!
