Parenthood is full of ups and downs. That said, there are some days when the challenges are especially felt. For many folks, picture day is one of those times. No matter how old your kid is, when picture day rolls around, it can be stressful to ensure they’re looking their best. We don’t know if this was the case for Fallon O’Hara Commons, whose daughter is still in preschool, but we do know one thing for sure: Her pictures did not turn out the way Mom expected.

This might sound like the photos turned out bad. On the contrary, these baby pictures couldn’t have turned out better. In a slideshow on social media, Fallon shares some of these photos, explaining that she’s sharing them in an order that showcases them getting “progressively more ridiculous.”
Fallon starts this incredible slideshow strong with the image above. Splayed out next to some pumpkins and a doll, this adorable baby doesn’t seem to know what to do with herself — though it does seem like she took a cue from the doll, since they’re both sitting in nearly identical ways.
Then there’s this gem. Unlike her first photo, it seems that Fallon’s baby was ready for her close-up when this shot was taken. With one eyebrow slightly arched, it’s almost as if she is trying to pose for the camera. That said, the same doesn’t seem to be true for this next photo…

Here, it seems that Fallon’s daughter got caught off guard. Perhaps she was too busy trying to figure out how to top the previous look she gave. In any case, the smile on her face isn’t quite genuine, making her look both adorable and goofy. But nothing, it seems, can compete with this last photo.
Perhaps Fallon’s daughter was tired of getting her photo taken. Or maybe she was a bit confused by what was even happening. Whatever the case, this baby couldn’t have been more confused — and we love her all the more for it.
