Val Kilmer rarely posted on social media, but a final Instagram post in February highlighted his struggle to speak.

In one of his final posts, Val Kilmer sat with friend David Choe, and the pair joked as he put on a Batman mask. His voice sounded strained, but Val was in good spirits.

Fans took to his Instagram to share condolences.
“You will always be my Huckleberry. Rest in Peace, Val,” a fan wrote.
Another shared a memory, “This broke my heart…I will never forget when you gifted me that Batman autographed painting you gave me back in 2017 when I was a student at Long Beach City College. Thank you, Mr. Kilmer. May you rest with Jesus now.”
