Some people seem to be born with the Christmas spirit. Erin Szuba’s Uncle John is one of those people. In 1994, he started his very own Christmas village. You know, a tiny town made out of those little decorative homes you can buy each year around the holidays? While it’s not uncommon for folks to create their own Christmas village, few are quite as magnificent as Uncle John’s.

With each Christmas, Uncle John continues to expand his miniature village, a place that is officially named Scrunchville. While we don’t know exactly how small this festive town was at the start in 1994, what we do know is that it has grown oh-so much since it was founded 30 years ago. There’s no doubt that an abundance of time, care, and love has gone into making Scrunchville over the years. It legit looks like it belongs in a holiday movie! While Uncle John has been more than happy creating this village for himself and his family, now that his village has gone viral, he’s getting love from all over the world!
