Wheel Of Fortune contestant Nikol recently blew a puzzle with just one missing letter, and she immediately realized her mistake.

“Wheel Of Fortune” Shared Nikol’s Mistake On Instagram
She now sits in the proverbial hall of shame with other Wheel of Fortune contestants who’ve made a viral mistake. The puzzle read, “See the line where the s-y meets the sea; it calls me.”
Nikol needed just one letter and filled in “soy” as the missing word.
Ryan Seacrest delivered the bad news: “No, that’s not it.”
Nikol realized her blunder and blurted out, “Oh my God!”
The correct answer is “See the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls me” from the lyrics of “How Far Will I Go” from Disney’s Moana.
Of course, Wheel of Fortune fans flocked to the Instagram comment section to share their thoughts on the fateful mistake.
This fan gave Nikol the benefit of the doubt, writing, “She was adorable, but I think nerves got to her for this puzzle; and even during the round where they are running out of time, she kept on wanting to call another letter or a vowel.”
This person agreed, “Well, it was cute. I’d probably forget my own name on WOF.”
Another person wrote, “This broke my heart. Because she obviously knew it right after the nerves got the best of her. If she has kids, I’m sure they yelled at her when she got home.”
