“Wheel Of Fortune” Fans Can’t Stop Laughing Over This Holiday Puzzle Missolve

Why is it that when you’re sitting at home watching your favorite game shows, it seems so easy? We can figure out those puzzles and answer questions in a second, thinking we’re so intelligent. But anyone who’s been on one of these shows will tell you when the studio lights are on, and the cameras start to roll, it’s a lot harder than when you’re in your pajama pants on the couch. We’ve all probably yelled at the TV when someone got a puzzle incorrect on Wheel of Fortune, but a recent player’s mistake made a lot of people laugh. Poor Phil McManus was trying his best to solve it, and he made a pretty hilarious mistake.

Phil had plenty of letters on the board, and the puzzle read,  “Chocolate Chestnuts & Chi_ne_s after he bought and I.” Phil proudly announced he’d solved the puzzle and said, “Chocolates, chestnuts, and chickens.” Host Ryan Seacrest had to deliver the bad news that Phil’s guess was wrong.

Phil guessed the puzzle on a special holiday-themed episode of Wheel of Fortune, so of course, the answer was Chocolate, Chestnuts, and Chimneys.

It was a funny mistake and people on X loved it.

Phil posted about his mishap on Facebook, “Chickens lmao ……yes I said chickens lmao.”

One person wrote, “You had me crying bro.”

Another laughed, “Sir?????? I loves ya but I could not stop laughing!!!”

So did this one, “Bro I was on my couch like, chickens?!?!”

This one, too, “Chickens are awesome, would have been my guess. Buk buk!!!”

We’re going to give Phil a break here. He was doing his best, and some Wheel of Fortune puzzles are tough. At least he didn’t’ say sausage. Right, Will?
