No matter the age of a child, their parent is always going to want to help take care of them. This is true even when that kid is an adult. As a parent herself, this is something that Kristi Johnson understands all too well. Still, nothing could have prepared her for the request her late mother made as she was dying from cancer.

While Mom was losing her battle to cancer, Kristi had health problems of her own. Though the video below doesn’t give us all the details, what we do know is that she needed surgery for her knees. To say that Kristi was blown away by her mom’s thoughtfulness would be an understatement. As Mom neared the end of her life, she dealt with pain herself. And yet, when it came down to it, taking care of her adult child was far more important. Needless to say, this kindness is something that Kristi will never forget.

“She wanted to take care of her baby one last time,” someone points out in reply to Kristi’s viral video, with another person adding, “You gave her purpose again. We live to care for our babies no matter how old they are!”
