Singing in public can be pretty scary, but this young girl got an entire restaurant to join her in a jolly rendition of Jingle Bells! Of course, it didn’t hurt that she was dressed head to toe as an adorable Christmas elf. It also probably helped that her dad bet her $100 to do it! He caught the most wholesome footage of his daughter leading the impromptu sing-a-long at Chili’s.

At first, the girl seemed too embarrassed to accept her father’s dare. However, moments later, she was standing on her chair and making an announcement to the entire room! Before diving into Jingle Bells, though, she decided to quote a line from the beloved holiday movie, Elf. You can watch the video here.
“Ladies and gentlemen, can I get your attention?” she shouted. “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”
Diners were thrilled to join this elf in singing Jingle Bells.
As soon as the girl began to sing, her table joined in. It wasn’t long before other people did, too! Soon, the entire Chili’s was filled with joyful voices singing Jingle Bells in unison. When the song was over, everyone cheered as the young elf wished them a “Merry Christmas.” Although she couldn’t have asked for a better response, she was still feeling pretty bashful when she sat back down.
“I’m never doing that again,” she said, hiding her face.
As promised, Dad handed his daughter a crisp $100 bill as soon as she’d finished singing. He was very proud of her for doing something so brave!
“She is fearless… especially when $100 is on the line,” he wrote in the caption of his video.
Commenters were also pretty impressed by this young girl’s confidence.
“Social anxiety fears her and I love it,” one user said.
Another chimed in, “It’s like a real life Hallmark movie moment.”
This video is such a wonderful reminder that the things we fear often aren’t as scary as they seem. If this girl can sing Jingle Bells in front of an entire restaurant, she can conquer anything!
