Leah Harmon Rhodes is a busy mom with three kids. She finds time daily to “share her chaos” on TikTok and Instagram as musiccitymom. She wants to help others feel “seen” and less alone in motherhood. In between the life moments, new recipes, and mental health reminders, she includes snippets of her children as they grow. This is an older snippet of her then-toddler son channeling an “old man” personality.

As a vehicle pulls up to the curb where she waits, her toddler smiles broadly in the back seat. He looks up with a grin and says, “Hop in Toots!” The unexpected old man greeting from her toddler had Leah giggling uncontrollably. And honestly, her giggles make the scene even funnier. We’re unsure where the young boy learned that phrase, but we suspect he might be spending time with Grandpa.
There are many things that toddlers say that could be questionable. As a parent, you know what they’re saying, so it’s okay. Should we be laughing at these cute little toddlerisms? Probably not, but every parent does it. My kid is 22 and we still call them “potaboes” and go to the “hostibal” when we’re sick.
Leah’s son is no longer a toddler, and he has given up calling her Toots. Now he calls her “Bruh.” Anyone with a kid probably has similar experiences. Parents should avoid using words like “Yeet” in a sentence and answering everything with “Bet.”
Leah introduces herself on Instagram with a short video describing her channel and what followers will find there. Her refreshing, bubbly personality will have you smiling. Some of her recipes are key to keeping a family happy. The family is passionate about Kraft macaroni & cheese.
