Wholesome Footage Shows Dallas Cowboys Rookie Practicing For First NFL Season With His Mom

Dallas Cowboys Cooper Beebe

Even though they look like they’ve got it all together on the field, professional athletes don’t get there by accident. They put in a tremendous amount of work and practice to make those dreams come true. And when they can’t get together with the team to perfect their skills, who do you think they call? Good old mom.

Cooper Beebe may have been drafted by the Dallas Cowboys this year, but he will still get out in the backyard and practice with his mom. Video caught Cooper and his mom, Tamara, practicing his “shotgun snaps” in the backyard, and it’s as wholesome as it can be.

Cooper’s dad, Tom Beebe, shared the video on X, and it stole America’s hearts. The NFL on CBS shared the video on Facebook, and it has been viewed 1.1 million times.

Moms Will Do Anything For Their Kids

Tamara, a mom of four sons, proudly practiced with her boy and people loved it.

One person wrote, “Mom helped get him to the NFL… I’m sure this is one of hundreds of times she’s practiced with him. That’s what it takes to raise a good athlete…both parents and child working at it. Pretty cool that she’s still helping him out!!!”

This person felt nostalgic watching the mother/son, saying, “I would do anything to go back to the days where my mom would pitch to me. Great mom right there.”

Even people who aren’t Cowboys fans couldn’t help but love this moment.

“I absolutely hate the Cowboys. I don’t see anything wrong with this though. Dude is minding his own business and practicing what seems to be a simple snap with his mom. Probably means a lot to her,” someone wrote.

This person agreed, “Don’t like the cowboys but as a human being this is amazing. Way to go, Mom. You’re the real MVP.”
