“I’d love to go sailing — I’ve never been,” Ed wrote in his message. “I’m very interested to learn more about it. Please consider me if an opportunity arises.”

However, this man wasn’t expecting his neighbors to give him sailing lessons for free. In his adorably wholesome note, he explained what he was willing to bring to the table.

“I’ll be a good helper!” he said. “I will make all a nice boxed lunch!”

This wholesome note is melting hearts.

At the end of the message, Ed added a few more details about himself. Apparently, he’s 60 years old, “physically fit,” and “a good swimmer.” Margaret was absolutely touched by this wholesome guy and his lovely note. Personally, we couldn’t see why anyone wouldn’t want this absolute sweetheart on their boat!

“I better see Ed on a sailboat by the end of this year,” one user wrote.

Another added, “I am actually crying can someone take him.”
