One young content creator had the sweetest encounter with an elderly woman at a thrift store, and it all started because she was trying to capture some footage! Lauren Blackborow often posts shopping vlogs on social media so that she can show off her cute finds. However, this time another shopper accidentally wandered into the frame.
When the elderly woman walked in front of the camera, the first thing she noticed was Lauren’s phone attached to a mirror in the thrift store. She was fascinated by how the young shopper was recording herself without having to hold the camera.
“Oh, that’s a good idea,” she said. “How’d you do that?”
Lauren explained that there were suction cups on the back of her phone case, which allowed her to film hands-free. She told the elderly woman at the thrift store that she’d purchased the item, an Octobuddy, online. This lady seemed positively thrilled by the phone accessory, and she thanked the content creator for giving her the name of the product.
“That just made my whole evening,” Lauren said, as soon as the other person had left.
