This animal may leap like a dolphin, but don’t be deceived: he is very much still a dog! A pet owner named Molly caught the most hilarious footage of her energetic cocker spaniel, Rupert, jumping up and down during their walk. It was pretty funny to see this pup bouncing down the street, his mom in tow behind him. This pooch probably spent more time in the air than on the ground! Watch the video here.

Over 34 million people have watched this video of Rupert indulging in his bizarre yet adorable habit. Commenters loved the way this little dog jumped into the air just like a dolphin bursting out of the water!
“That’s the happiest cocker spaniel ever!” wrote one user.

According to Molly, her dog has a variety of other inconvenient habits besides pretending to be a dolphin. In another video, she shared some of Rupert’s “red flags.” Apparently, this sweet cocker spaniel can sometimes be “needy” and spoiled. Obviously, none of these traits make this adorable pup any less charming! Even when he pooped in the background of Molly’s proposal video, his mom couldn’t get too angry with him. After all, who could resist Rupert’s precious little face?
