Greece is a paradise for tourists. It’s one of the few countries I have visited that I would want to live in permanently. From the historic sights in Athens to the beauty of the islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Greece has everything a tourist would ever crave. However, the scenery is not without the ravages of commercialization, as witnessed by one traveler who had a unique view from her hotel window.

Don’t let that scare you off the possibility of planning a future trip to Greece. The entire country is steeped in history. A trip to Athens, Greece, lets you tour the Parthenon at Acropolis, museums, and more. It is a central transportation hub location, making the entire country available.
Several travel vloggers have toured the islands. A popular favorite is Amanda Monique on TikTok, who has toured many locations worldwide. Amanda shares tips on traveling abroad and how much you can stretch your limited funds. You can learn how to island-hop on a budget while having a great time. She covers almost everything you need to know.
The beaches along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea are stunning. From the glistening white sand to the crystal clear blue water, they are a must-see part of any trip to Greece. To experience the beaches, take a trip to the islands in Greece. One of my personal favorites is Crete. You can catch a quick Airbus from Athens to Chania (pronounced HAWN-Yaah). Once you are there, taxis will transport you to the harbor area. From there, you can walk around the harbor or visit the central part of the city.
Hopefully, You’ll Have A Better View From Your Hotel
Don’t be shy. Plan an adventure to Greece, and you can view a life-sized Shrek billboard from your hotel window! But you will also see lots of other great things. Most of the country is English-speaking. If you find a vendor that doesn’t speak English, find a local kid as they teach it in the schools there.
