Why take a cab when rickshaw drivers exist? If you don’t already know, a rickshaw driver is someone who pulls riders in a cart, typically with a bicycle. But that’s certainly not the method Daniel Power chooses to use. Rather than using a bike to transport folks in Kelowna, a city in Canada, he uses… well, himself! Two women found this out for themselves during a recent trip downtown. They were there as part of a birthday celebration, making this the perfect day to choose a more adventurous route.
The night had been a blast when, suddenly, they were unable to get a cab. This may have been frustrating at first, but they quickly learned that this was actually a blessing in disguise. Had they been able to get a cab, they never would have met Daniel. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, could prepare them for the wild ride they were about to go on! Sure, Daniel’s method of transportation isn’t for everyone. But even if you can’t handle a ride yourself, just watching videos of them will bring you joy, in part because of the contagious laughter and smiles from his delighted customers.
