Yet Another Major Store Is Shutting Down Locations After Filing Bankruptcy

Kohl's Bankruptsy

Kohl’s filed for bankruptcy in January and announced it would close 27 stores in April. Kohl’s currently operates more than 1150 locations across the United States, and the closing stores represent underperforming locations. The news came as a blow to Kohl’s employees, but the corporation noted that employees would receive a competitive severance package and the opportunity to apply to other store locations.
